Nancy O'Dell's broadcast career began as an anchor and journalist for WPDE-TV Myrtle beach, South Carolina. Later, she worked at WCBD as a morning anchor and crime reporter. When she was in Charleston O'Dell's reports on the lenient police approach to DUI cases led to an State Law Enforcement Division investigation that resulted in states authorities again releasing an even more strict directive on DUI situations. Ms. O'Dell received her Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. Following her work in Charleston O'Dell worked as a co-anchor and investigative reporter for NBC's Miami station WTVJ-TV before joining Access Hollywood as a weekend anchor and a weekday reporter. O'Dell, in addition to anchoring the main show for Access Hollywood, also appears on NBC News Today as well Dateline NBC. She's been a reporter for the Academy Awards The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted various pre-show arrivals shows for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. Her other co-hosting credits include Miss USA, the Miss USA pageant, and Miss Universe.
