While we are navigating through the summer of 2021, there is a constant level of uncertainty in how our social service will be able to include the significant interpersonal connections that have been enjoyed by Rotary Rotarians in earlier times. It is a fact that the motto "hands face space" will be an important aspect of the program It's evident that there's a rising faith and need to be face-to-face with people. However, the nature of Rotary has evolved. It is not without a degree of uncertainty moving through summer 2021. It remains to be seen if those human connections Rotary members cherished during the past will remain. Although the phrase "hands-in-space" is undoubtedly part of our everyday routine but it's clear that confidence is growing and there are more face-toface relationships. However, Rotary has changed. Rotary's networks create friendships which last. The outbreak of the pandemic was our catalyst to embrace the latest technology. We've improved our methods of holding online meetings for our business' whilst reintroducing activities for service and social with a secure face-to-face setting. These new possibilities have been paired with the lessons we have learned from previous outbreaks to provide a brand and new perspective for Rotary. A recent Rotary survey, we were encouraged to learn that about 75% of clubs have started planning for their business regular events" The summer months saw many of our members out and about focussing on various projects like river and beach cleans litter picking and of course providing ongoing services to society from Rotary volunteers who volunteer their time for COVID vaccination and test centres. The article is in English. Amanda Watkin is the General Secretary of Rotary Magazine. It was great to learn that according to an earlier Rotary survey that 75% of the participants were thinking about their usual programs and community-based projects that were useful to communities across Great Britain. It is great to see that the Rotary support center team offers important resources to assist with the maintenance and promotion of the infrastructure. It also helps keep people who are members protected. Insurance and compliance are also important. Our Rotarians are able to find innovative and creative solutions to the biggest issues. This is the reason I was thrilled to have the chance to be a part of Rotary when I joined in the year 2002. Rotary is also able to provide me with a wonderful circle of friends that are like-minded. I am extremely grateful for this. Invite your friends, family members as well as colleagues to join in the amazing Rotary group.
