Ana Celia de Armas Caso was born in Cuba, and raised by Spanish parents. Her professional career started in Cuba when she played the role of lead in Una Rosa De Francia. At the age of 18, she moved to Madrid, Spain, and played in the cult drama El Internado for six seasons from 2007 to the year 2010. In Los Angeles, de Armas played English characters in films like The psychological drama Knock Knock 2015 and the crime/comedy War Dogs 2016. She rose to prominence with her role as the Holographic AI projection Joi in the science-fiction film Blade Runner 2049 (2017). Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck had a romantic relationship prior to when the actor left with Jennifer Lopez as a wife. Affleck was first seen with Ana de Armas after Deep Water. Ana de Armas received an increased amount of attention when she dated Ben Affleck. This was not exactly what someone wanted.
